Do bed bugs bite pets?

How can I check for bed bugs?

Adult bed bugs are typically ¼ inch and appear a reddish-brown color. They leave behind traces such as droppings, egg shells, shed skin, and blood stains. How do you treat bed bug bites?
When bed bugs bite, it quickly becomes apparent on the skin. Red marks or blisters will appear in the areas that the bugs chewed on.
