Northern Mole Crickets

These brownish crickets are usually 20mm in length.
Mole crickets derive their nickname from their propensity to burrow in the soil.
Unlike other species, the mole cricket has powerful hind legs and front legs. The front legs are used for burrowing.
They also benefit from a set of wings and can fly if they choose.
