Rodents Want to Be Warm and Dry, Too!
As colder weather approaches, nuisance wildlife and pests like mice and rats may try to find a dry, warm place to spend the winter. Unfortunately, some of them may take up residence in your garage, attic or elsewhere in your house, and they can cause big damage.
Rodents will build nests out of available materials, including paper, boxes and wood. They also commonly gnaw on wires, causing electrical issues or shorting out security systems. They will even climb into a warm car engine and chew wiring under the hood. We have also seen cases where a residential alarm has been tripped repeatedly with no signs of any criminal activity. Upon closer inspection by the alarm company representative, they discovered that mice or rats had destroyed the wiring in the crawl space! Be sure to watch this video featuring Clegg’s “Junior Interns” with tips on keeping mice and rats out of your house.
If you believe you may have a mouse or rat infestation, or other nuisance wildlife, give us a call at 1.888.Mr.CLEGG or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Andrew Taylor Earns Board Certification

The first, Associate Certified Entomologist, or ACE, is geared toward structural pest management professionals looking for a more general professional development program. The second program is geared toward those with degrees in entomology or a related field who are looking for a rigorous continuing education program.
