My name is Andrew Taylor and I have been in the industry since 2010. I was working as a service manager in the state of Florida until 2013. I have dealt with many pest situations, including lawn, ornamental, general household pest control, termite, or fumigation related. I am currently the Technical Director and Entomologist for Clegg’s.
I graduated from the University of Florida in 2010, with a B.S. in Entomology and Nematology (Urban Pest Management). I also dual majored in Environmental Horticulture (Golf and Sports Turf Management). I attended the University of Florida’s School of Structural Fumigation in 2011. I also conducted undergraduate research at the University of Florida, researching the fecundity of bedbugs under differing feeding regimes. It is being used to show how quickly a population can grow to harmful levels where humans actually could suffer a significant amount of blood loss. The research was published in 2012. I am listed as a co-author with Dr. Phil Koehler, professor of Urban Entomology.
During school I received multiple scholarships, made the academic dean’s list, and I graduated with honors. I am currently certified in Lawn and Ornamental, General Household Pest and Rodent Control, Termites and other WDOs, and Fumigation in the state of Florida. I also became a Board Certified Entomologist through the Entomological Society of America in 2013.
I have a wife and two children. We like visiting historic places, fishing, and camping. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and went to a magnet school for performing and visual arts. I like to paint and draw when time allows. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
